ROCKALL SOLO was a unique endurance expedition undertaken by Nick in June and July 2014, in order to raise funds for Help for Heroes. Following his successful Rockall Jubilee Expedition in 2012, the challenge was then for Nick to land on Rockall for a second time, becoming only the fourth person in history to do so, and this time survive solo, setting two new endurance records:

THE LONGEST SOLO UNSUPPORTED OCCUPATION OF ROCKALL

THE LONGEST OCCUPATION OF ROCKALL IN HISTORY

Nick returned to Rockall in June 2014 and despite losing several barrels of food and equipment during a Force 9 storm, he successfully set a new 45 day occupation record, and raised over £10,000 for Help for Heroes.

A collection of photographs charting the planning and reconnaissance for this expedition can be found here.
